Abstract: The use of infrared equipment to evaluate the physiological quality seeds has become an extremely important technique for operation, since it is not destructive seed and safe operator. experiment was divided into two stages, in first, controlled deterioration curve carried out, second stage, validation NIR XDS process through modeling classification lots. used proved be efficient show that with a higher band ratio index, spectrum greater amplitude lower potential, opposite also valid, when index smaller, smaller values germination vigor were observed. For concluded spectra generated by can quickly decision making on corn samples, considering binary parameters according approval disapproval lots considered this study.
